I ran AND finished my FIRST 5k race!!!&amp;nbsp; It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.&amp;nbsp; I was a little nervous.&amp;nbsp; I don't have a running partner, which I think all the other runners had.&amp;nbsp; I didn't "run" as much of it as I would have liked, but I haven't been training for over a month.&amp;nbsp; My goal was to finish in 45 minutes.&amp;nbsp; My finish time was &lt;b&gt;46:17.45!!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/b&gt; With the Nike + I am able to "keep myself honest" cause it keeps track of my distance and time.. which is then uploaded to the Nike + site.&amp;nbsp; On the site I can join challenges, which help me stay motivated!&amp;nbsp; Also, with the new site, I can "friend" someone and they can see your runs and you can see theirs.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;My only downside of it was I didn't have Nike + shoes, I normally wear New Balance.&amp;nbsp; We had a bbq and I ate way too much and didn't want to run at all !!! But... I got on the treadmill and did it !! ( I am patting myself on the back) I normally listen to an audiobook when I run, but today I decided to listen to a 10k training thing I downloaded on iTunes. I did alot better, felt like I got a good workout!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;" /&gt;&lt;br style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;" /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;After I did my 2 miles ( wanted to do 4 but just couldn't do it) Kaleb wanted me to go run with him ... I told him I would ride my bike ..cause I couldn't keep up with him ! Soo, I rode my bike .. actually me, Rik and Hayley rode our bikes. We did 3 miles !
